Description:
The BQIX wagon is a 40ft container wagon which is a rebuild of a Victorian Railways ELX wagon by CRL (Consilidated Rail Leasing) in 2014. There were 15 rebuilt. They were first placed on Broad Gauge and operated on maitenance trains before being converted to standard gauge around 2019 for SSR's Airly-Charbon water train.
They are to be placed on SSR's DPW Logistics train which will run from Yennora to Port Botany and return.
