Description:
The BQIX wagon is a 40ft container wagon which is a rebuild of a Victorian Railways ELX wagon by CRL (Consolidated Rail Leasing) in 2014. There were 15 rebuilt. They were first placed on Broad Gauge and operated on maintenance trains before being converted around 2019 for SSR's Airly-Charbon water train.
They are now placed on SSR's DPW Logistics train which runs from Yennora to Port Botany and return.
This wagon was originally built by Matty (fergotrainboy), however as he has retired from Trainz he has generously allowed us at Hotbox Content to host these and provide support for them. 3 versions are included: 1 BG variant and 2 SG variants with slightly different body changes. They all include weathering, prototypical check letters and are industry active, utilising our new Hotbox 40ft containers and other commodities.
