Description:
The BGTY Grain Hoppers were designed off of the CFCLA CGSY Grain Hopper, these wagons are based on XGAY Wagons, however are significantly modified and updated.
They are formally known as: CIMC WHT-35 (92t). These wagons include custom, realistic weathering, industry compatibility, custom physics/engine spec and 3 era versions (As-new, Weathered 21+ With Lights, Weathered 24+ Missing Lights).
Build Information:
- Prototype built at Tongling and became CGSY 4501.
- Another 40 built at Tongling for CFCLA and became CGSY 4502-4541.
- Prototype built at Guiyang to be PGSY 2001 (prototype) but became CGSY 4542.
- Another 42 built at Guiyang for Freightliner as PGSY 2001-2042 but have become BGTY 1401-1442. Of note, 1402-1442 are numbered as per their build number, but build number 43 is now BGTY 1401 as the original prototype went to CFCLA as CGSY 4542.
After a crash at Rockview NSW (near Junee) a selection of BGTY wagons were scrapped which are; BGTY 1401, 1408, 1409, 1412, 1424, 1431.
